1993 ජූනි 18 දා රාත්‍රියේ කොළඹ එල්ෆ්න්ස්ටය් රඟලේදී ඇතිවූ අඝාත තත්ත්වය මත  කොළඹ මහ රෝහලට ඇතුලත් කරන ලදුව, ස්නායු ශෛල්‍ය වෛද්‍ය දැඩි සත්කාර ඒකකයේ දී 1993 ජූනි 24 දා සවස යාමයේ අභාවප්‍රාප්ත විය.
Passed away at the Colombo General Hospital on June 24, 1993.
